Straight from the Ring, today we are at Pinkpop! Metallica last played this festival in 2008. Mastodon and Rob Zombie have already played the main stage. Up next is Biffy Clyro, and then Avenged Sevenfold. Our boys will hit the stage around 8:40 PM.

A big electrical storm just rolled through Landgraaf. The band is waiting for the storm to pass to make sure that no one actually rides any lightning. We'll give you updates when the situation improves.

Flash before my eyes

Lots or rain, lightning, and thunder rolled over PinkPop, delaying the show for about 90 mins. The crowd was evacuated to safe zones, and the stage was cleared for everyone's safety. After the storm had passed, and everything was triple checked, the show started with Battery, Master, Sanitarium, and oddly enough, Ride is just ending! Unforgiven is about the start, and on deck is L.O.S.
