We are in Nurnberg for the first day of Rock Im Park. Three stages, tons of bands... on the main stage today, Gojira, Shinedown, Enter Shikari, Refused, Tenacious D, Billy Talent, and Metallica will go on around 9pm.

The band charged out of the gate with the familiar one-two punch of Hit the Lights and Master of Puppets. Right now, they're blazing through No Remorse. Bellz is up next.

Since we last checked in, Metallica's performed Bellz, Hell & Back, and kicked off The Black Album set with Struggle. Now, the crowd is singing loudly to the harmony section of Misery. The God That Failed is up next.

At the end of the show tonight, the crowd started singing the Misery melody again. It was a beautiful thing. And a beautiful crowd it was for Rock Im Park. Full setlist is up, pics to come.
