ORION are the Official Italian Metallica Tribute Band since 2004.
They're supported by The Italian Metallibashers and the U.S.A. Official
Metclub.
They played more than 200 gigs with 2.000 people on July 2006 and 3.000 in July 2007.
They played the Official Pre-Show to Metallica in Padova (Italy) on June 2004.
They played the Official European Metallica Fan Clubs Meeting, in Zurich (Switzerland), on February 2006.
They played the MMD Festival on 8 March 2008, ATHENS - GREECE (7.000 people), with: NIGHTWISH, NEVERMORE, ANNIHILATOR, SODOM, EDGUY, TRISTANIA & more.
They played with IAN PAICE (drummer of DEEP PURPLE) on 5 April 2008.
They played like Headliner in Rome: Summer Metal Day Festival on 5 July 2008.
They played the Official Pre-Show to METALLICA in Bologna 2008, supported by The Italian Metallibashers, The Metallica Club, Live in Italy, Metal Hammer, Rock Hard & Metal Shock.
They played the Official Promotional Death Magnetic Night in Rome on 11 September 2008. Supported by Universal Music and The Italian Metallibashers.
They played as Headliner at the BALEINEV FESTIVAL: Yverdon-Les-Bains (Switzerland) on 15 May 2009. 2.000 people.
They played as Headliner at the Trecentallora Bikers Festival of Trecenta (RO) on 30 May 2009. 2.500 people.
They played the Official Pre-Show to METALLICA in Milan on 20 June 2009.
They played the Official Pre-Show to METALLICA in Rome on 23 June 2009.
They played as Headliner at the Wolfsrock Festival 2009 in St. Michael, in Austria on 18 September 2009.
They played the CLIFF BURTON NIGHT in Milan (Alcatraz) on 26 September 2009, with Joel McIver, the author of "Cliff Burton To Live is to Die". 1.200 people.
November 2009: ORION Live Tour in TURKEY. 4 shows: Bursa, Eskisehir, Ankara e Istanbul.
After the ORION Turkish Tour Nicolò Rold leave the band for personal reasons (afer 9 years on the road...). Sebastiano Sartorello (Soulpit) is playing the ORION's drum set today. All the best for the future my friend
