A Swedish couple have been told that they may not call their six-month-old daughter ‘Metallica’. Although baby Metallica Tomaro has been baptised, the Swedish National Tax Board have refused to register the name.
The babyÂ’s mother Karolina, claimed that the name suited her daughter, adding "She's decisive and she knows what she wants."
The couple, who can now get a passport or personal ID for their daughter, have been backed by a court on the grounds a women in Sweden also has the middle name ‘Metallica’.
We can only thank God that the TomaroÂ’s did not call her Slayer, Scum, Impaled Nazarene or worse, Limpbizkit.
