So as it was expected, Rick Rubin was chosen the “Producer of the Year”, during the ceremony of 49º Grammy Prizes, made last night in the United States. In addition, the Producer of the new disc of Metallica, devastated in diverse categories, obtained thanks to the Grammy from Dixie Chicks, Network Hot Chili Peppers and Slayer. In addition to his statuette like “Producer of the Year”, Rubin was involved in the 5 Gramófonos won by Dixie Chicks, thanks to the album “Talking The Long Way”, produced by the bearded producer. Rubin also emphasized thanks to his work with Network Hot Chili Peppers and the disc “Stadium Arcadium”, which took 3 prizes, among them, “Better Disc Rock”. Finally, Rubin received the rewarding news that “Eye of the Insane”, of the disc “Christ Illusion” of Slayer, took to the Grammy like “Best Metal Performance”. He is possible to emphasize that Rubin directly was not involved in the recording of that disc, but was the Executive Producer of this project. Thus the things, the panorama is than positive more for Metallica and the beginning of the recordings of the new disc with Rick Rubin, projected for next the 12 of March. It is to hope that in the version 50º of the Grammy of the next year dupla Rubin-Metallica does of hers with the ninth disc of the Four Horsemen.
