Analyzing the announcement of Metallica - of the past Friday 9 of February on the next beginning of the recordings of its new disc and the mini tour in which they pretendenden to embark in the middle of year, it is possible to specify some details on the matter. To begin with, the band only indicated that the disc will officially begin to be recorded - together to Rick Rubin- next the 12 of March. Nevertheless, one did not enter details with respect to the place where this ninth disc of studies will work the band: one does not know if it will be in his HQ of San Rafael or Los Angeles, since it had indicated to Lars Ulrich, some weeks back. The other that was not specified was what as much the sessions of the new album will extend. It is presumed, however, that these will extend by more than 4 months, since it inquired clearly in the Official notice of the group, that - to aims of June and beginnings of July they try to be 2 or 3 weeks of tour. This does not mean that for those heights the disc is ready. On the contrary. The band raised this like “break”, a new “Escape From The Studio Tour”. As far as the tour, most probable it is than one only confines Europe.
Metallica gave as tracks of safe visits, a Festival that begins with “W”. Most obvious it is than this one is the “Werchter Festival” of Belgium, which did not visit the last year. In addition, they spoke to touch in the “home” of a member of the band. More surely it would be than one is Denmark, in the Roskilde Festival. The rest of the shutdowns would have to be other European festivales of great scale, since in 2 or 3 weeks they would not reach to touch in two different continents.
