I'm waiting for "Rock Im Park" single-day-tickets, you know, only a ticket for the day when Metallica is going to play.
So if anybody knows if or when those tickets will go on sale it would be great to tell.

Chances for single day tickets are extremely low IMO. The Ring is already sold out, more than 40000 of the Park tickets have already been sold (mine included haha), so it's only a matter of time that the park will be sold out as well (bc of 3 massive headliners who each attract a large number of different fans).
That's why the chances of an Einzelicket are so low!!!!!
Last year they had like 300 Einzeltickets for the Sunday, but they were sold out within two hours even though it wasn't an officially announced ticketsale! I wouldn't count on such a sale this year, bc it will very probably be sold out much faster than last year!!!
If you wanna go to Nürnberg, buy a 3 day Ticket, the line-up is awesome this year!! ;D

i think i won't go to rock im park this...the other headliners aren't interesting at all and it's boring to watch some shitty bands for the whole day and wait for metallica...by the way, i don't think that these ticket prices for RaR and RiP are justified anymore for just a handful of really good bands!!
..but it's my personal opinion

I definitely sign this, much too expensive for too less quality. Unfortunately it seems like the same thing starts happening with wacken, what has been a good festivals until thew last few years. Now it is getting bigger and bigger every year, and the lineup is getting worse and worse. 2003 The ticket price was 60 Euros, now it is almost 120...

thanks a lot for this info, it helped me a lot.
you're very lucky that you already have your ticket, but the problem with me is, that one or two days after RiP i have my Matura, so I definitely can't attend all three days. Despite of that, I have probably no other chance than to buy the three-day ticket and to only attend the day Metallica is going to play (the last day, sunday, i think; is that right?), bc I definitely have to see Metallica.

That reminds me of Nova Rock 06; even though I had my mündliche the next Monday I definately should have gone and see MOP played in its entirety (plus other great bands, this lineup was so great). (Im Nachhinein is ma imma gscheiter).
btw, you can also go to the Prague gig, I actually recommend you to go there!!!! Normal standing tickets are still avaliable, and wavebreakertickets (=Front of the stage ticket) on ebay are prolly cheaper or about the same price as a RIP 3 days ticket (now it's about 110-120€, I bought it for 99€)! Plus you have Machine Head as support band, this gig is 5 days earlier than the RIP one (which is definately an advantage for the Matura) and big group of DTOA guys will be there (me included)!! We are at a hotel there, most of the guys have a room for 3 nights as far as I know, I have one for two days. (And I believe I'm in a double room, so it might be possible that you'll be able to stay in room, which will make it cheaper for both of us).

i'll be there too! it's true, there aren't many good bands and its pretty expensive, but its the festival spirit that makes it worth it!
i mean... 3 days of doing anything you want! having friends around, metallica, drinking, metallica, never care about trash, metallica, meeting interesting people, metallica, being unwashed for 3 days, ..... have i mentioned metallica?^^
i think i'll bring one of my acoustic guitars... no risk no fun

omg! it was so amazing! last year at my first metallica concert in vienna i was pretty impressed, but what they did yesterday beat everything!
it seemed like they were really in a good mood and i think lars played way better than in vienna last year.
the 3 festival days topped each another from friday to sunday. friday die toten hosen with campino climbing on top of the stage even with a broken leg. saturday serj and rage against the machine... the storm with rain and hail couldnt stop me from waiting before the wavebreaker in my tshirt^^
and finally metallica, showing everybody once again that they simply are the best!
