The Road To Chorzow
First of all I wanna say thanx to all the people who joined me on this fuckin’ tour. We met at Vienna Südbahnhof on May 27th to catch our train to Katowice. Btw, many thanx to Adriana for organizing the train trickets. It was a hell of fun to travel with you.
When I arrived, the other people were already waiting for me. So it was time to say hi to Metalandi, Putzi, Mike, Adriana, Marcello and Dands [from Brazil]. As usual train was in an fuckin’ delay, and after around 5 hours we finally arrived in Katowice. Hotel was really near to the station, so we had to went around 15 minutes. After checking in, we deceided to do some shopping and sight seeing. Our hotel was close to the famous Spodek, where Metallica had played already years ago.
We didn’t expact it, but fuckin’ Poland is really expensive. I had to pay around € 3,50 for an Cappuccino. Shit, coffee is cheaper in Austria. But food and beer is pretty cheap, and that matters. We had an nice evening, and some nice little drinking Party with Metalandi and Putzi in our hotelroom.
Next day was show day. We went to the Chorzow Slaski Stadium by tram, to meet our little Polish brother Marmetal and his awesome Dad. When we arrived there, a lot of people were already waiting infront of the Venue. After a few more hours of waiting, it was time to enter the stadium. But damn, we have been to late, Pit was already full and now wristbands available anymore.
But since we are always fuckin’ little bastards, we arranged something with Chris, and good friend from Mike, and so we got our wristbands. Pit was pretty small, but not many people inside. Mnimic already entered the stage, but they didn’t make a hell of fun. Some people were listening to them, I think. After around 1 hour later, Machine Head went on stage.
Personally that are not my faves, but they have done an good show, I think. Sound was terrible, to much bass, and you can’t hear any voice. But the most strange thing here was, that this was the first show for me ever, I wasn’t able to by an beer. No alcoholic drinks during the show. Since it was hot, some cold drinks would always be nice.
But now, it was time for Metallica to came out. When the started the AC/DC intro, people on the seatings started to make the La-Ola 
After “Ecstasy Of Gold” Metallica hits the stage as usual with “Creeping Death” followed by “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and an pretty good “Ride The Lighting”. Sound was an little bit better, but not much. “Harvester Of Sorrow” was pretty heavy. Then James started an nice version of “The Unforgiven”, and also “…And Justice For All” was pretty good. The croud was in an perfect mood, never have seen an moshpit during Unforgiven 
Then they played an really good version of “Devils’sDance”, it kicks ass, really. After “Disposable Heroes”, “Welcome Home (Sanitarium) and “Master Of Puppets” they have done one of my alltime faves “Whiplash”. It’s time to see some fuckin’ action up there James was screaming, so we had a few moshpits inside the pit. Really crazy.
After “Nothing Else Matters” and “Sad But True” they had an cool pyro show before playing “One”. Aad after “Enter Sandman” Metallica left the stage for the first time. But people always want more. So they came back and gave us some fast versions of “Last Caress” and “So What”. Last song was “Seek And Destroy”. All in all, the show was petty good, only the sound sucks amazing.
After the show, I went to the mixing desk to grab one of the working passes as an souvenier. Pretty nice thing to remember.
Back In the hotel, we had an small after show party with some cold beers. Only girls were missing, but I think it was Andi’s fault 
So wants again Poland, whe hat a shitload of fun there. Fuck yeah!!! Next day, we had to go back to Vienna by train. Only a few more days left to the next show.
More Pics will follow pretty soon

yeah, and just because this guy pulled it down, so that not one tiny part of his 2 km² big poland-banner would be covered by my banner. But fuck off, there's always such kinda guys. I'll try my best in bologna, and if he doesn't see it i'll just throw it up.
