  METALLICA Rocks The Waves At Australia's Bells Beach (Photos) - Nov. 22, 2010

According to Geelong Advertiser, Jan Juc photographer Steve Ryan managed to catch a glimpse of METALLICA lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bass player Robert Trujillo as they took time out from their hectic tour route to surf on Bells Beach — a coastal locality of Victoria, Australia in Surf Coast Shire and a renowned surf beach — on Saturday, November 20.

METALLICA's most recent run through Australia and New Zealand completed the two-year touring cycle behind the band's 2008 album, "Death Magnetic", although the band may do some touring in 2011 and is confirmed to headline Rock In Rio next September.

METALLICA will release a nine-track live EP recorded in Nashville, titled "Live At Grimey's", on November 26.
