Wow . . . just off the plane after an amazing visit to some of our favorite places in Europe. Celebrating the release of "Death Magnetic" with all of you guys in Copenhagen, Berlin, and London was the ultimate way to close out an over the top summer! And just when we think it can’t get any better, we hear that the new record is number one in just about every country on the planet . . .what can we say other than "THANK YOU!!" Thank you for all your support, patience, ongoing feedback, traveling far and wide to shows, and in general for sticking with us through this wild and crazy ride.

Now the next level of nuttiness begins . . . see you out on the road for the rest of this year and all of the next!

But, do you know anything about the austrian charts jörg? Haven't seen it in the top 40 here yet

Its definetly not true that they are no. 1 in the whole world with this album, i took a look at the austrian, german and swiss top 100.

Additionally I heard from my friend in the states that metallica got really bad comments by the critics on the new album over there. I dont know what to think about this news.

Actually they are on Nr. 1 in Germany. Augenzwinkern

and here and swiss the album doesn't seem to be in the charts yet, but i think that has something to do with the date. I'm sure it will be in there next week, cause there's no way it would not even be in the top 100.

just listened to the soundportal top 40 they are on place 3 with "The day that never comes" start voting on soundportal.at so they get NO.1 there too!!!
