  just listened to 5 new songs

Hi!

It is friday and I was invited from the austrian record company to hear 5 new songs!

First of all: ENGLISH IS NOT MY MOTHER LANGUAGE. I can order a pizza in english - but that was it. ! I dont know what the songs are about. Please dont ask me!!!!

I dont know anything about song-structure or anything. Please dont ask me!!!

The songs I heard where mp3 s so the sound was ok, but not brilliant

I only heard the songs 1 time and there was some much to listen to and I was writing while I was listened - so please dont kill me if I write bullshit sometimes.

The parts with " ....." are the lyrics I could hear and understand (like I said my english is not soooo good)

After hearing the 5 songs I had problems to read my own writting

1. That was just your life
It starts with heartbeat and the riff remembers me on "the thing that should not be" very scary!
The snare drums sounds like at "blitzkrieg" and the there is a part with very, very fast snare drums

"fallen from grace"
"I open just in time"
"cause the day is long "
"destination hell"
"I blind my eyes"

Solo from kirk after the 2nd refrain
short distorted guitar
"that was just your life" - FINISH

2. The end of the line
brilliant riff which wont get out of your head

"knee ..more and mor"
"joke..."
"knee more and more"
"gasoline"
" end of the liiiiiine"
VERY GROOVY
Very brilliant riff
Solo Kirk
Very much guitar

now James sings very melodic (Tis part makes the song brilliant!!!!)
"the slave becomes the master" (2 times)
FASTER "The slve becomes the master"
The end of the line - FINISH

3. Broken, beat and scarred

heavy start, again brilliant riff
"you rise"
"you fall"
"you rise"
"you fall"
"what kill you make you more strong"
Solo Kirk (again distorted)
"we die hard" (2 times) FINISH

4. The day that never comes

The more and more I hear it, the more I love it
People who are sceptic will love the song after a few times hearing it

5. All nightmare long
very distorted riff,
heavy riff
sounds like the mp3 have an error

very, very evil voice from James, seems that he is very pissed (Lars what have you done again???)

"clock runs out" (something like that)
"still live"
"still you run"
"one two three four"
short break (only one breath long)

OK, I hope you like what I have written:

Facts are: Lars still do not much double-bass, the songs are very long, little bit progressive like "justice" with the power of "master" and the in ear studd from "black album"

The sound from the mp3s ist even much better than St. Anger

Its not an easy record - you will need a few times to fall in love with the record.

BUT: GO AND BUY THIS FUCKING RECORD, PUT IT IN YOUR HI-FI SYSTEM AND FALL ON YOUR KNEES!!!

THE GODS OF METAL ARE BACK AND THEY WILL CLEAN THE STAGE AGAIN WITH ALL THE NEW-METAL CRAP BANDS.

HAIL TO THE GODS!!!!!!!
