Who says it's the album title? In the video on metallica.com it only says "Death Magnetic coming in September".

I'm pretty sure it's the title of new album. My first impression was: strange title for Metallica record. Then I got used to it and I think it's pretty cool but we can't say more because we don't know the music and lyrics. Good shit anyway .

Usually a single comes out before the album, and as it says in the video Death Magnetig - September...I would suggest it is the title of the album.
