Webcast Of Iron Maiden Performance Today

MAIN STAGE WEBCAST OF IRON MAIDEN PERFORMANCE

We are delighted to announce that Iron Maiden’s performance at this year’s festival will be shown around the world LIVE.

Download Festival and Iron Maiden have teamed up for a live and exclusive streaming of Iron Maiden’s fourth Donington Park headline appearance on Sunday 10 June. Available FREE right here on http://downloadfestival.co.uk/webcast, their performance will be shown in full, and will attract a global audience to the festival. Other acts are expected to follow with webcast announcements soon.

Iron Maiden’s manager Rod Smallwood said "As we are only playing a few shows this summer this is a great way for our fans in territories we are not playing to have a means of seeing this show featuring songs from both 'The Number of the Beast' and 'A Matter of Life and Death', along with many others. We know it’s not anything like as good as being there but we feel our fans will appreciate our doing this for them. Maiden have always had strong ties with Donington so it is very appropriate to do it from there"

Festival director Stuart Galbraith said: "Iron Maiden streaming their set live on the Download Festival website gives more proof that Download is without doubt the most interactive festival in the UK. It will be great for those who aren’t able to make the festival for whatever reason to see Maiden’s set completely free of charge."

They got some shitty sound engineers there, the whole time you could'nt hear Adrian Smith's guitar unglücklich

i'm recording the show at the moment, but don't know if it works fine. there are a lot of breaks in the livestream.

livestream from the rock am ring shows was far better.

i will let you know at the end of the show, if it worked good or not.

sorry, they didn't play rock am ring. i was just meaning that the livestream quality of the rock am ring concerts was better than the livestream from the download festival shows.

but i taped maiden on friday in ludwigshafen. when the show is ready on dvd (hopefully sometime in july when i have holidays) i'll send you a copy.

bad news, my friend. just watched a few parts from my donington recording and it's awful. the video quality is almost ok, but the audio stops many times. so, it's not watchable. i hope someone on JITF will have a better version. i recorded velvet revolver from rock am ring and it worked really fine. don't know what the problem was with the maiden show, maybe to many tapers online.

@ ludwigshafen: yeah, i taped the ludwigshafen show and this one looks really good - great video quality and also sound quality. as soon as the show is on dvd, you will get a copy.

the setlist was great and also maiden were great, but the crowd sucked. there wasn't much freakin' out and there were only about 13 000 fans. but, anyway we enjoyed the show.

hope i can do the same on the metallica gig in july!

lubijana was on june 2, on april 14 there was no maiden show. belgrad was on march 14, maybe you mean this one. belgrad was taped and i think sloveniy too, because on youtube there are quiet a few videos from this show.

thanks for this list...yeah, i have all these shows!! i will update my site again in the next few days. haven't done an update for over a month and have got a lot of new shows. i will let you know when it's done, maybe you'll find something you might be interested.
